![]() Sure, it was slightly more thematically coherent, considering a lion can in symbolize ferocity and strength. But football cleats decorated with images of money? Why? You could argue that professional athletes make money by playing sports. They came out during the rapper's brief stint as Snoop Lion, and featured a lion. And wouldn't Snoop's lung capacity be pretty horrible after the millions of blunts he's smoked? Did you know this is his second pair of Adidas cleats? The first ones didn't make a whole lot of sense, either. But why Snoop Dogg? Sure, he's a noted football fan, but so are Jay Z and Lil Wayne and Ice Cube. The new Adidas Adizero 5-Star 5.0 x Kevlar Snoop cleats pay tribute to what's probably the most famous line off Snoop Dogg's breakthrough album "Doggy Style." But this advice isn't necessarily something you'd want to follow when the situation demands the mental focus of, say, competing in a football game. "My mind on my money and my money on my mind," Snoop Dogg famously rapped on 1993's "Gin and Juice." It's sound financial advice for anyone paying attention to his or her budget. Stay ballin on the field at all times w/ the Snoop "Money Cleat"! #SnoopCleat /OiiqPbpfKC- Snoop Dogg March 21, 2016
